After watching that video I had tears coming to my eyes, so I had to go find the Kleenex box......

We had a well to do neighbor at my previous home. Put it this way, they spent winters in New Zealand and summers in the large home below ours, then added a 6000sq ft "studio".......... One night they had many visitors, we heard drums and wailing all night. I am afraid WildWildWest and I might have been rude, we could not stuffle our belly laughs a few times. I don't get it.....I have enough to worry about in my own life and cutting trees is not on that list.

Guess i is the pot calling the kettle black.
Weirdo on the street with piles of wood in many forms (lengths, logs, splits and stacks.)
Only time you hear me wailing is when the chainsaws isn't running right or i drop i log on the toes..

    Gotta love our little circle:campfire:

Imagine this to the tune..........."I'm a girl watcher"
    I'm a tree hugger,
    I'm a tree hugger,
    Killin' trees, I cry,
    My, my, my.
For those unfamiliar with the tune.........

If I'm going to listen to 60s music I would prefer this.

Unrelated to what's going on with me, some one here had some of these folks on their private land. When asked to leave one reached for a machete and the land owner (in typical fashion for this area) pulled a pistol on him and told him he shouldn't have brought a knife to a gun fight... LMAO!

I couldn't resist the beautiful weather on my day off... Had to cut a load. Took the dog in my avatar, Kahn, with me to watch my back. He did his job well and stayed near the road so he could see both ways. Barked once because a deer ran through but otherwise just had a ball sniffing while I was loading rounds! All in all a good time.

Just finished giving the neighbor a hand. Split a cord of wood by hand just the two of us in 30min. Not bad.

I couldn't figure out what I've been smelling lately- it's Patchouli oil & BS.

Real tempted to take some bear bait out there...

Oh my aching back, I'm regretting flying through that wood yesterday... Going to be a long day. The restaurant we used to go for breakfast is now open at 7 instead of 6? Who the hell eats breakfast at 7 on a weekday? Is everyone getting lazy or is it just my thinking.

Go easy on your back if you can, there Joe... you'll end up like so many of us in our 60s (me) with the day's activities being decided by how much growling (pain makes ole bears grumpy) we can get away with... ;):BrianK:....... :D

Didn't make breakfast. My oldest female GSD and mama to all but the dog in my avatar, woke up this morning with a shoulder 2x the size it used to be. We're sitting at the vet and I'm praying it's nothing serious. She's in pain though and I can't have that. Not what I had planned for this morning...
