I've gotten silicon tape from ebay, good stretchy stuff and seals well, even with a pressurized (blower) chimney pipe. I find a large screw type clamp is necessary to keep it in place. (think a hvac type hose clamp - 6" - Lowes 0r HD) It is about 2" wide.

On our P43, the flue-to-appliance adapter isn't permanently attached to the flue collar on the stove. Last year, based on the advice of someone on this forum (wish I could remember who) I used some of the silicone tape discussed in this thread, as well as a large good quality hose clamp to attach the adapter to the flue collar. It held in place very securely, we're happy with this solution. Makes it much easier to detach and move the stove away for major cleaning, as opposed to an adapter that has been permanently "glued on" so to speak with silicone. On our P68, the adapter is permanently siliconed on, so to move that stove out for a major cleaning, we have to disconnect the first section of flue pipe that attaches to the adapter. It's not really a big deal, just not as convenient. We have also used the silicone tape to seal a couple potentially leaky joints on the P68 flue pipe as well. You know, it's Duravent.

yea, ttdberg......Duravent. ICC actually has a bolt-on adapter for their pipe for the Harman stoves......you remove the cast iron nipple on the stove, and use the 3 same bolts and gasket to attach the adapter....removeable with 3 bolts......no clamp, no tape. Easy-peezy. Its why we use ICC over Duravent.
