    Welcome back FatBoy85, In your climate I would be leaning towards a cat stove. You will be able to burn low and slow and keep the wife happy. Just my two cents. Either way glad to hear from you.

    A stove with a catalytic combustor to burn the wood more efficiently. Like a blaze king or Woodstock there are other manufacturers out the these just come to mind first.

    Thank you for the info. I had no idea something like that existed. I just have a Lopi Flush mount insert and am amazed how well that thing does.
