Hey papadave, did you feel like you had a sporran permanently shoved under the skin after your surgery?

Edit: I would have linked it, but I don't know how to shorten a long link to just the particular word? Anyone know how to do that?

    Edit #2: never mind, I gots this:thumbs:

    Yep.
    It's still numb too.
    Uncomfortably numb.
It's the mesh. Heck, for all I know, they used window screen in there.

Yep, that's what it feels like in there. I'm getting some tension in my left hip now...(left hernia was worse than right side), and wondering if it's from the shuffling around, or shuffling to much... It's not totally uncomfortable, but I'm reminded every step I take.

So, you've made it all the way to shuffling, eh?
I think that means you well on your way to ambling.

Coming along about as well as anyone with a fannypack sewn into the lower abdomen would be....
Couple of stray instantaneous pains, but not too bad....
I was sheparding the stacks after lunch and carefully bent down to pick up some small shavings from the splitter and instantly thought of your statement last week, "Sit still!!":picard:

My wife just got home. She handed me a grocery bag with a few of those disposable aluminum trays in it. There was a slight hiccup and fumble and my darn body involuntarily jerked to catch the bag so as not to dent the stupid trays!

I love my wife. I love my wife. I love my wife. I love my.....

Yeah..."Dave on the spot" doesn't have quite the same "ring", does it?
Wear a cardboard placard painted to look like pants, but have on sweats on.
Nobody would notice that, right? Right?

Dear Father found some khakis with elastic up top. Not sure where your incision is maybe the gusset ballroom jeans on the other thread here? ALSO, I had a spandex thing while pregnant, it fit around my middle and kept my pants up even though they were not buttoned. There has to something like that for hernias in men!?
