    It was bound to happen.

    I had this pile of pine boughs for months with no problems whatsoever.

    Today I put in some scrap papers in to compost, then figured I'd toss in a few pieces of the pallet that the new wood stove was shipped in.

    Well, guess what happened.

    I was gonna be frightened, but I remembered that I had a beer that I could douse myself with. :loco: :crazy:
    (In an emergency situation only, mind you.) :pete:

    We survived fortunately, but it was close for a while.:fire:
