I'd be happy to send it that way.
The stores are already selling out of milk and bread. This round sounds like the normal snow setup, front out of the gulf 2-4" that will melt in a day or so.
We've been deviously close to getting a bad ice storm on the last few fronts including a small one tonight...rather see snow than ice on everything - on the ground

My daffodils have been blooming for 2 weeks, they aren't perked up after the lower teens last week but still blooming.
    Hyacinths have started budding
Crocuses have fresh leaves but haven't shot buds yet, Easter lily is trying to shoot up as well.

To dark for pics, I'll take some of the blooms over the snow:hair:

Sorry but I am not in that minority that still wants more snow around here, but for those of you who are-

In the words of John Winger (Bill Murray) in the movie Stripes

"We're mutants. There's something wrong with us, something very, very wrong with us. Something seriously wrong with us"

Driving back and forth to work looking at all the roofs, shoveled and un-shoveled. lucky are those that can have their roof cleared. one house , heavily iced stuck out. in what was an upstairs bedroom, an air conditioner waiting for summer? the people either like a cold bedroom or love to waste heat! love to thank God that I'm perfect everyday so I can find other's faults, but geez it's kind of an obvious huge heat loss?

Accuweather has a plus 50* day in their local extended forecast for So. New England. will Vegas be taking bets on this?

I dont know where the warmup went they were predicting later this week. Im seeing 0°-5°F for lows all week. Also hinting around for another storm over the weekend. If we get big snows this weekend, we'll be getting close to last years totals.

On another note, I'll need to go on ice breaking duty later. The ice is beginning the slow "glacier slide" right above the walkway to the house. Wouldn't want a 3"x20'x10' sheet coming down.......

Crazy isn't it? Used to drive down into town where a house sitting across from the stop sign had an upstairs window open all winter, every winter... about 6". Perty obvious they weren't paying for the heat from money they had earned. Place always looked like a dump. Neighbors hated them. Revolving state aid recipients... :picard:

Maine is continuing it's Weds & Sun snowfalls. I think it's been 5 weeks or more now... wow.

Yeah, that could be bad for Saucy, one of the hounds got hit by falling ice leaving the porch the other day, now I have to go out with him and encourage him to leave.

In that area, I need to salt, and Saucy ran all the way from out back out front there full speed. I ran over to him but he walked onto the salt. I quick ran inside to wash his little feet while he was crying. I felt so bad. So much to watch out for when there is small pups around. Ice, eagles, hawks, rock salt, larger gaps in the deck, etc.
