Yes, its a Massey Harris model 30, its essentially the updated version of the model 101 jr with the same engine as the later 101's but with the 5 speed tranny instead of the 4 speed. The 30 was in production from around '46 to '52-ish. The 101 Jr.'s stopped production in '46. The Jr's came out in '39 with a 124 cu in, then changed to a 140 cu in during WWII then morphed into the 162 cu in for the final couple years before the model change to '30' with the 5 speed.

You never wanted one of those fancy speed spinners on the steering wheel of any tricycle front end, because you could break a wrist encountering the condition adeptly described in your comment. It was bad enough with the plain steering wheel like you said.

Sorry fellows...didn't mean to ramble on so but......what can I say, just look at my username.....its a weakness, I tell you, a weakness.....

I spent many hours on the seat of one of those WD-45 and also a WD-45. Shortly after that I got a chance to drive a new tractor that had power steering. Wow!!!!! I fell in love with that right away.

I thought that was a Massey-Harris. Neat unit. My cousin had a small one. I don't know the model. It was just small. He grew 45 acres of tobacco so he had 4 to 5 tractors at any one time. Those old tractors are great.
