I start at the butt and like to use wedges.

I can do it wedgeless but i am fest if I just start a top cut, wedge and let 'er rip.

    Got em all! ;)

I might have you beat! Last year I got my bar pinched in a BL widow maker that was leaning 1/2 over on another live tree.... Anyway, I got the 2nd saw stuck in it trying to get the 1st one out. So I ended up getting the hydraulic jack out of my truck and placing a stump under the tree and putting the jack on it and jacking the tree up to get BOTH saws out! LOL! Lots of new 4 letters words where herd by the wildlife in the woods that day! :D

LOL! Thankfully mine occurred far enough into the woods away from my house. But my wife did ask a few times while I kept coming back into the garage.... "Oh, I just forgot a tool honey!" as I walked off dragging a hydraulic jack into the woods!
