I have a new to me 2010 Toyota and the buttons blow my mind, and many of them I have to go through a sequence. Not sure I'll ever get them all figured out...
Get to know the vehicle by reading the manual. As vehicles get more and more technology, the more you need to read the manual.
After turning wrenches on a few German products, I agree! We have some German electronics at work...also overly complicated! I can complain...have some German blood in me. FYI, scavenger , some of these guys don't consider it loaded until it's up higher than the top of the cab...

we had to do some work on our septic at our long time previous home, and who was the one that fit leaning into the manhole ? Ya. ETA, several times, bulkhead, repairing bulkhead, and high pressure sprayer in leech line. Yes, me on all 3. Don't laugh, our water pressure was 30 lbs on the spraying Took forever. And sorry scavenger
Built/tested/QC’d a large number of dry type transformers for Andritz at my previous job. Small world Loon.
Ah, the good old days when there were a couple knobs and easily understood pictograms. Those are all gone now. Sure, you can drive the car, but some things are much more convoluted now. I just recall what a colossal PITA setting the clock on my Audi was. I just left it 1 hr off during daylight savings time after setting the clock the first couple of years I owned it. The Enigma machine was less complicated.
I'm in Ford Pass now and bluetoothed till I'm red in the face. Take this in increments. Now a short load perhaps...
