They let the amish CB dealer talk them into using a "cobble system"...pex AL pipe with some real thick pipe insulation over it, and then the whole thing buried in 8" corrugated pipe...this would work fine if you lived in a real dry area that had excellent drainage and a low water table...but that is not how things are here locally...so basically as soon as this system gets wet, its almost worthless as far as insulation value.
