Heast Master G200 update

Really good...figured out this fall that my brother had loaded a new program in the controller a couple years ago (it had a glitch) and he should have recalibrated the O2 sensor afterwards, but didn't...been running that way since, until this past November...seems to be running more efficiently again, like it did the first year...still wasn't terrible like it was, just not as good as it could have been.

 

Thanks again now I have to ask when you do that is it just toss & light the cardboard? bypass closed?
I ask as mine has 15 'high chimney

 

I don't have a bypass so that's always closed, make sure the fan is running, but toss it in, light it, leave the door cracked just enough that fire doesn't come out the door, and let 'er eat. It gets a little sporty, but doing this crusts up the creosote up top so you can scrape it off and you can see the creosote behind the panels start to run down and leak back into the firebox.

 

There's not much there, but when you get a ripping hot fire it will make it loosen up and slide down the firebox walls.
