I have never even called on an ad without a picture in it. I mean c'mon, if you have the capability to post an ad I would guess you could ad a picture too.

How can you use the visual condition as your number one selling point and not show it?

Vintage chain saw it works needs new chain and needs new fuel line, also will need carb re built, gas cut off switch was left on all summer so gas are threw fuel line and oil dried up in carb and probably messed up carb gasket, most med- to advanced handy man can do this task, a tune up would be good used all last winter, and would love to keep it but moved and I don't have a wood biting stove. Pluses this chain saw is over kill for cutting up most fire woods. You can look up information online about this bad azz old school saw hell u could make one fast go ped if you wanna use this motar for that. 6-7 hp on this saw.

I have a nice low hr stihl 088 for sale. Has a 36" bar. Saw is an animal and runs perfect, needs nothing. Selling because i hardly ever use it, i have 2 and only need one. Looking for 1k cash, will entertain partial trades, even trades for other saws, offroad toys, guns, or? No electronics, video games, sleds or boats.

    Formula for Chain Speed Calculation

Take chain pitch and multiply x two.
Multiply above number by number of teeth on sprocket of saw.
Multiply that number by saw RPM. The number you get will be chain speed in inches per minute. To convert to feet divide by 12. To convert to feet per second divide by 720.
Example: 3/8 chain, with 7 tooth sprocket.

    3/8 x 2=3/4 or 0.75
    0.75 x 7 (number of teeth on sprocket) = 5.25.
    5.25 x 12,000 (saw RPM) = 63,000 inches per minute.
    63,000 divided by 12 = 5,250 feet per minute, 63,000 divided by 720 = 87.50 feet per second.

The 2100/2101 series is one of the best sounding (and performing) saws Husqvarna ever made.Just pure brute power & torque.Last produced in 1990,I really like the manual oiler override for the tough stuff. Once in a while you get lucky & will have the optional thin ring piston high performance version, those are incredible.

Husqvarna 181SE chain saw 81cc chainsaw - $375 (central point)
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Husqvarna 181SE chain saw 81cc. Runs and cuts good. I replaced both felling dogs, the chain catcher, the 24" bar and chain about 8 hours ago. I have owned this saw for 23 years and it's been a dandy! The chain brake was removed when I got it in 1990 also the on/off switch. I simply pull the choke out to shut it down. I have owned MANY saws in the last 30 years, and this one, hands down has been the best most reliable one. At 81cc's it will pull a 36" chain no problem. $375. CALL 541 601-47two5
