Well one of these days when it is a bit cooler than it currently is I'll pull the two plugs on the vent system and fire up the stove that is now all back together.

All this talk about cold winters and stove cleaning just ain't right. I'm not ready to admit that August is a mere two hours away and the summer is flying by at warp speed.

But yeah, it's coming. I thought of that again when I drove by the store where I'll be buying my next years stash of pellets. They've got 22 tons of Pro Pellets, and they're going to be stocking Michigan pellets this year too. I gotta get my stash before Michigan pellets are all that is left.

Nope it was just cleaned, I don't paint that which will be burned off. As for pics I don't own a camera and have to bug the boss to take pictures and I'm not a picture taking person. It's a danged bucket of parts.

It is defiantly coming and at my current rate of getting things done it will be here before I'm ready for it. I have 12 tons coming on August 19 and a bit of work to get out of the way in the garage first involving cleaning out stuff, 5/8" fire core drywall for the ceiling, mud, insulation panels, sealant, and paint. The drywall is up, the first coat of mud is dry, I have 6 panels ready to attach, and the pile to go to the dump and recycle is growing. I spent most of today working in the garage, just took time out to install my combustion blower, make sure the auger motor and auger were doing their thing and putting the convection blower back on, my combustion blower gaskets arrived from Brunners.

$10 less than HD, that will cover the drop charge and then some.

Looking for a small leaf blower that would clean our chimney for our Yankee Pellet stove. It's located in the basement so it comes out the poured wall then up, are there any negative effects when cleaning with a leaf blower.

Some like to disconnect the vacuum line to the Vac switch, but if you leave the door to the stove open, you don't have to worry about.. Heck some don't disconnect the line or worry about the door.

I just worry that the diaphragm can be damaged by the high suction through the line when the door is closed.

Just make sure the leaf blower you get has the vacuum option (leaf vacuum). It will make it easier to adapt to the pellet vent.

Here are 2 cheaper Black and Deckers. .

One is a little more powerful than the other. I have a Toro that is rated at 240 mph. It was around $70.

Instead of using the bag. You slip the nozzle on the one end (like your gonna "blow" leaves) and then slip the suction/vacuum end over the pellet vent.

    Bigger model
