Finally got all the wood from my BIL's lot to the house. Was 4 big trailer loads. Needless to say I have a little splitting and stacking to get done. Going to wait till after hunting season ends in January to start.

I have only ever hand split all my wood. The red oak and walnut and poplar from these loads are a breeze. Then there is some white oak and something I am not sure what it is but it is whooping my butt. I may rent a splitter for a day and save my back and shoulders. As always a few pictures, don't want to get hollered at!

A little ice in the mustache this morning after loading up. And no I don't have the keys to the machine, all done by hand...

Loaded and unloaded a trailer by 11:30 in 18 degree weather. Talk about a workout

The carport/leantoo is mighty full. 16ft deep and probably 4-5ft piled up in the back.

Nice load of BTU's there. The cold air sure gives the lungs a workout.
