Living room/ stove room only got to 70 degrees.. In 45 minutes. Granted 2 floors up is now 67 but STILL
I fired-up the Earth Stove last night, and it really loved the dogwood/oak mixture I fed it. The cat fired-off like a dream.
We have launch!! Nothing like the first fire of the season. Little cherry to take the chill out!!! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Why I love my stove, hadn't touched it in 22 hours. Through four splits on it added air.. And got heat
Dropping down to 39f tonight so you know what that means. Fire Mon , put in some ash and maple 3 each 4 hours ago the wife and kids are happy
I’ve had a few. I lit the fire at about 6:00 pm last night, pallet wood and soft maple, I had enough coals to easily get it going this morning. It got into the low 30’s last night. Frost on the roof and windshields. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just added more wood to our stove. Woke up to 30* and fog. Surprising that we didn't have any frost this morning. The fog finally lifted about 11:15.
First fire yesterday. Got a little chilly for everyone in the house, it was 62 though but in the low 50's outside. The house holds heat well but not well enough to continue holding off indefinitely. I fired up the outdoor wood boiler with splitter trash and a bunch of odds and uglies, water temp at 47° at 10 am, hit 180° cutoff by 3 pm, the floors were nice and warm this morning.
Yesterday and today not bad, in the 60s for a high. Then it starts to get colder. Probably start a fire this evening and will probably stay going. Extended forecast seeing some lows on the 20s.
