Harman P68 did not shut down

    Had the same issue here. Battery back-up on the 'puter switched to battery 3-4 times during the wind, but only for 3-4 seconds.

    When turning the dial from stove temp to room temp or vice versa, if you don't pause in the off position until the status light goes out you're still in the original mode. So if you were in room temp and turned the stove off and it didn't shut down. So when you got up and the stove was running and the status light is on, you were still in room temp. If you then turned it to stove temp without the light going off, you're still in room temp. If you then turned back through the off position to room temp and the light never went off, you are still in room temp from the night before. Hope this makes sense.

    It does make sense but I was pausing at the off position and it did not make a difference. Since that night, I am making sure that the Status light is off when I shut down.

    So far so good after the reset as well as removing the board and cleaning the contacts. I still dont have anything to put in the pots, but just turning them many many times might have cleaned them up a bit as well
