I did buy a new stove! I'm back and got the P68. However, loud humming vibration sound prior to pellets dropping. Thoughts?

I sure did. Much better heat. Now if I can only figure out this rumble prior to pellets dropping.

That is the plate that slides open at the bottom of your hopper that allows those pellets to drop down to the auger. See exploded diagrams of the Harman feed system for reference.

Sometime when your hopper is just about out of pellets and you hear the auger feeding, open the hopper and you'll see the slide plate close. Don't stand there with the hopper open looking for it because the stove won't feed, but if you open it during the feed cycle, you'll see it.

Sure just hold the switch down with your finger , but the p series stoves don't have a hopper switch my p43 doesn't . My Accentra does .

Hu, both my P43 and P61a have the switch. To put a hopper extension on you have to buy switch extension also (or, permanently depress it as I did for the P43 - the P61a is set up correctly)
