I see they have a coupon on their site for 15% off of most of their power tools, through June 30. I tried the coupon on the 20 ton log splitter, and it does work on that, bringing the delivered cost (including freight) to me to $776. Hmmm, tempting. Would you buy at that price? I currently mostly split by hand, 4-6 cord / year.
Don’t think I’d buy anything that expensive at harbor freight. Seems like a person could probably get more quality someplace else for the same or slightly more $$$. Black Friday sales are a good place to watch. Just my 2cent opinion
HF and hydraulics seems like something I'd avoid. The big box stores get to $800 on sale so that's where I'd be heading.
Look at the reviews on it....there pretty good. I was thinkin about one of these but why do i need to splitters for.....
My question on a HF wood splitter is what's the warranty like? A good friend runs HF generators for camping adventures, the last one had about 80 hours on it when it self destructed. They replaced it with no hassles.
A couple members have run them: I finally got a Wood splitter I like my brave 2 way splitter it's very fast on anything 20" and smaller.
