    The heat shrink is a good idea. If you want a little more padding, you can just double it up. I used Stihl stuff on my 064, and it was such a pain in the azz to get on there... I think it looks awesome when it's done, though.

    I covered the handle on my old Homelite with foam grip tubing from McMaster Carr
    McMaster-Carr
    Seems to reduce the vibration and has a nice feel.
