Haven't been around in a while, only just started burning with the change to cold weather. But found this, didn't see it posted, unless I missed it. Hammers has a $25 off coupon to present to dealers. Christmas special. Hamer Pellet Fuel
I got a eflyer form CT pellet the other day about it.. Not too sure $274 is amazing, But works if your in need of fuel. I'm stuffed full to the rafters, So no room to fit any just yet!!
I haven't checked the 2 places that I know local , but I think that $235 - $245 with the coupon , would be in the ball park .
I was wondering , any of you other pellet heads see a Xmas sale on pellets before ??? Me being a thinking man thinks that the mill has a lot of product to move
No, Never seen a xmas sale. Not from a mill anyway, Seen a few pellet houses offer a little off a ton or delivery discounts is about it. Yep, I'd say they are tryin to get something rolling. Oil is still gummin up the works for them.
Sitting on 2 seasons worth and Some have way way more. Only good thing for the mill is its starting to get cold. Hopefully it gets some sales going. But I think its gonna take an oil spike to make much really happen. I'd say we will see some decent spring prices or maybe even another overstock bust sale. So I will burn up what I have and sit ready to pounce for a refill. Don't think the bust sale will be as banner as last season as the BBS have adjusted supplies and didn't stuff their warehouses. But we should see something?? Lets just hope oil doesn't go loonie tunes!!
If that coupon would bring it down to $200 ton I'd consider it. I'll just be finishing a ton for the season so far so I can load these up in that empty spot.
If I could find them locally it might bring the price down to something almost reasonable (around here they think $6/bag is good for Green Teams and Inferno's and 300/ton is good for NEWPS). I will admit that TSC sells for less but they only sell their brand (MWP's which are pretty good)
$249 / ton after the $25 off at our shop in Pa. That's cheaper than the BBSs in our area for a much better hardwood pellet IMHO. If you're not packed to the gills like some, it's a pretty nice price for this time of year. Here's our sale ad with the coupon codes if your interested. Steve, it looks like the reviews thread could use a Hamer's review.
If I only knew someone that had some I have Clean Energy, which are Hamer's but they are from last season. We're doing our pellet swap tomorrow. the one I told you about last week. I'll have some really cool testers this weekend....
