Are you kidding?!? Don't let that stop you! I've never owned, rented or borrowed hydraulics. Below is one load a tree service dropped for me, at no charge. At the time I did have a big saw, but not big enough to get through some of the rounds that measured 54" in diameter. I cut away at them a bit at a time and you can see some of the results stacked in excess of 6' high. If you have the room go for it, you can always rent, borrow or even buy what you need to get the job done. For 5+ cord it's well worth it! keep the faith baby, you can do this! It's the same way you eat an entire elephant; one bite at a time!
Ray, that is not a monster tree for sure and my little 290 with a 16" bar would cut that easily. Sad to let that one slip away.
All split by hand. You'd think after all that I'd have a body the girls would pay to touch. But nooooooo! I still look like the dough boy's little brother!
We all are giving you pep talks : RA RA RA GO RAY, GO RAY Now get back out there & scrounge, scrounge scrounge . LOL
