    As my Mom got on in years, (Dad had died already) she would get her coffee ready the evening before. Sometimes I would stop by and see her at night and would see the coffee basket was full and ready to go. That way, she says, I'm not fumbling around in the morning.
    Danged if I haven't been doing that for a couple years now, myself!
    I sure do miss her
