This and Chainsaw Repair are the only two sites where the Mods are impartial and the members respect each other and the rules. It is not easy being a moderator or site staff, it takes a lot of time and cooperation which can become quite burdensome when the members are prone to act like angry children. My thanks to the FHC staff and all the members!

I have the utmost respect for the guys and gals on here in all forums. When I screw up I do my best to man up to it. We are like family here... You have yourselves to pat on the back. We rarely have arguments they happen but not often. So thank you all! You make this place what it is. All of us staff feel the same you all deserve our thanks.

This stuff will happen more and more often as the site grows. Right now we have lots of new comers but we have a similar core of folks. We will always attract our same type but with more people and more diverse opinions this will be a more frequent occurance. It will take more time of the mods or require more mods to lessen the load on each of you all.

The site sure has changed from the first few months where it was about 50 core guys talking to ourselves with another 50-100 that posted less frequent. But the change is a good thing we now have way more knowagable folks to share their knowledge and opinions on things.

The bottom line fellas is I don't want this turning into other places that are out there. I see a LOT of crap get posted in other forums that is left to grow and fester, all that does is create animosity. None of us want that. So let's nip it in the bud and keep posts civil and relevant to the subject being discussed......and there's no need to troll for an argument, because there will be repercussions if a post is put out to start a deliberate argument.

Let's keep this place going in the right direction.......you guys do a great job of policing yourselves and the mods and Admins try our best to keep everyone happy, trust me it ain't easy.......

I haven't been able to poke around and post as much as I had been due to a lot of hours at work and other chores. I love this place due to its positive nature and lack of bickering. I'm not a forum person and this is the only one I watch or post on these days. Great group of core people and administrators here long before I found FHC.

People should chill out at times. Egos not needed. Political rants are ok as long as they agree with my views. .kidding

I've only been edited a couple times. I guess I'm not too far in the wrong direction most of the time

I admit it. I get out of line sometimes. It usually is goofing off trying to get a laugh out of people. And go to far. And maybe sometimes with a post that is a little racy prolly shouldn't be, I forget about the kids that may be reading! MY BAD! You see, my wife and kids don't participate here. So I am always feeling like I'm hanging with a bunch of guys who cut wood and gas.:picard: Sorry. :emb: Whatever you do don't hesitate to send me a PM and let me know if I'm out of line AFTER you delete my post. If you delete it please let me know. I grew up with lots if brothers and sisters. My brothers and I thought being called a barbarian or animal was a good thing. Apparently it isn't. :( I'm sometimes called a human by my better half (when I have shaved, cleaned up, dressed with clothes that don't have holes, and been outside enough to let the fresh air...... A hem, sorry. Just keep an eye on me, that's all I'm saying.:D

Having fun and yanking someone's chain (in jest) isn't a bad thing.....I think most of us enjoy that kind of poking each other......but sometimes people take it a tad too far. That's what we need to keep from doing

And no Gassy, you're not one that I've seen go to far.....well, maybe CLOSE..... :whistle:

I have no idea what posts you are talking about either but I hope you are giving out warnings to the offenders.
I was kicked off the other site with no warning what so ever.

We have a system in place, no one is getting kicked off without a substantial history of warnings.

It would be more fun if we knew how many warnings we could get before we got kicked off. Wouldn't it oldspark? Guys? :dex:

I would like to know when a deal is not square or anyone feels they have been part of an unfair deal. of course respectfully without sarcasm.

I even would want this if someone felt I did them wrong. I also don't know how this could exist but I think there is value to this when we are dealing in an internet world.
I want to know who to beware of. Lots of times you can tell even with a phonecall if they will pass the sniff test of bull sheet.

Getting kicked off when you deserve is one thing but when it's some thing you dont understand it sticks in your craw.
The other site could learn a lesson here, I was a member for 5 years or so and had about 5000 posts and was treated like a red headed step child (no offense to any red headed step children);).
