The HR folks are also a major problem, they haven't a clue themselves, just a policy manual they can't likely read and understand.

Maybe you are getting the wrong crowed because the price is too low. Jack it up a bit and see if you get a better inquiry.

Dear Husband worked for a roof shingle distributor for years, it required guys to drive a boom truck close to the house to load the shingles. After being burned in the past the new rule was to take picks with the homeowner BEFORE delivery of the driveway/yard/sidewalk, what ever way the truck needed to go and then again After the delivery. Huge cost for time/payroll for the before and after but you would not believe how many home owners would sue for cracked concrete at anothers expense when it was cracked or freeze heaved before they even needed shingles. Sad but true.

BTW, we had a new septic tank and leach field put in last summer, yup, I knew it would be a muddy winter/spring.

Neighbor at my previous home. He caused alot of trouble on the road when his house was being built before they even moved in......then I watched a hardwood flooring company busting azz up and down my road (not gated but pretty exclusive road) several days per week per week for months after. A year later we reroofed our own home, semi got stuck on an incline that most cars would drive around, instead, the same neighbor had a tantrum, called my husbands company and tried to get him fired. What a hot head! I just remember my hubby leaning down into the car window after he dropped his sunglasses so his eyes could be seen and calmly said "theres no reason to use the #### word. Yep, nasty neighbor rolled up his window and drove around the semi. Duh. OMG I will remember that til the day I die!

It gets better...... a year later the same neighbor called me when I scored native dirt from a road over (dirt is scarce on my road) it was rich and dark and native, priceless where I lived, after he saw it in my driveway. Yup, unlike my younger self I mentioned his phone call the year earlier to get my husband fired (top ranks in sales in the US) and that I did not have dirt to spare (ooops, Elaine TP alert:rofl: ). Hmmmm, I was not like this before, but it felt right to tell him.
