The live free armory compact 2011 came in IMG_20251222_115349652_HDR.jpg
It was at my dealer 2 weeks ago but the seller didn't include any paperwork
Just the address on the outside of the box.
    Never saw this happen before
After many emails and chats they don't have
Phone customer service they finally called and I got them to send the info.
Really nicely made pistol butter smooth slide to frame and barrel very tightly fitted to the slide feels handfit
And has very crisp operating thumb safety's
trigger pull is a nice 3.5lb pull.
Unexpectedly I cannot disengage the grip safety easily at all.
It's made for smaller hands I guess
My hand can't match the diameter I'm thinking and other's have said the same.
So I called Springfield armory and ordered a prodigy grip module and mainspring assemblys
    59.00 shipped for everything.
I really like the prodigy grip it fits me perfectly.
I know I can pin the grip safety but I'm used to them functioning.

Really liking the Ruger rxm but the grip module is on the verge of being too small for me
    Being a fcu pistol.
I saw Magpul released the g17 sized grip module recently
    So I ordered one
    26.00 and 4 mec-gar 20rnd Glock 17 mags mag1517-blk_magpul_ehg_rg9_full_size_grip_ruger_rxm_05_1.jpg
    Internet pic
Everything was just a little over 100.00 I was surprised.

The arex delta m continues to be my favorite pistol overall and my home defense opplanet-arex-delta-grip-module-kit-large-olive-drab-602553-main.png
It has a interchangeable fcu like the rxm
And I wanted to try the L for large frame 19rnd grip module
I also have 4 19rnd mags on order.
If anyone wants to try an arex they are 250ish on buds gunshop
    https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/arex delta m
And a low as 217.00 before fees on gundeals
For what I've tried I think it's the best deal going right now for the price.
A little more money the tisas px9 then in the 300.00 range the cz p10c p10f and p10s are my picks.

Setting up a range at my house
So I bought one of these
    Amazon.com : bench rest
I can line rifle scopes up all day long off a bench but I got this for red dots
They are finicky for different shooters with different eye relief I guess.

Czed, which specific product did you get? When I click the link, it shows a bunch of products on Amazon...from rest bags to lead sleds etc....

But looking at that list, I'm impressed with some of the prices on various products. I'd figure some of that stuff would be a good $20-$50 more...

    I bought both of these

    upload_2026-1-2_10-16-14.jpeg
Top one for pistols bottom for rifles
Both not much more than paying for one at regular price.

Those were 2 of the products that I thought were priced very well for what they seem to be.

As expensive as some rifle ammo is now they save money for everybody at the range.

I really like the rxm but it was on the verge of being too short for me in the grip area
Not the most comfortable to shoot IMG_20260104_135030437_HDR.jpg
Magpul just released the g17 sized grip module
It was only 26.00 so I ordered one and 4 20 rnd mec-gar glock 17 mags it was only 100.00 for everything
It totally changed the feel of the pistol
It really locks into my hand now
    IMG_20260104_135128870.jpg
They only had fde baseplates on the mags that's good I can tell them all apart easily now.

Have never liked firing '2 finger' pistols. I own zero sub compacts and the compacts I do have allow full perch.

    Who is shooting .308?
I'm about to make an opening for some non-milsurp ammo but am unsure which varieties to try out. Federal Gold Medal Sierra 168 is already a shoe in but I'd like to try maybe half dozen or so different brands to see if the rifle has any preferences. Nothing *long range for now. Will be zeroing at 100 and plan to use out to 300 max under normal circumstances. Rifle is 1:10 x 22" and will nearly always host a suppressor.

I'm relegated to factory loaded ammo unless you want to sell me some of your personal dope.

I use to visit that store years ago when they were located in Hancock.MD. awesome store. They had a very large inventory and some awesome products. They us to have a Barrel tree. It was a post with holes drilled into it with blown up barrels. They looked like something Elmer Fudd would have.

If you have a Harbor Freight nearby you can get yourself a great deal on a fake Pelican case. Sale ends today. I got this for $132 total. Awesome deal for the middle size. $20 Easily fit two auto pistols in there. Small one is for 22 cans.
