I use the military ammo cans. I have never had a problem with storing ammo in the original packaging in the cans. My reloads go in plastic ammo boxes inside the can. I have never put loose ammo in the cans except for shotshells that I have reloaded.

I have been buying my ammo cans from Harbor Freight and they seem to be good. As I get silica gel packs from buying shoes, I will put them in the cans.

Visited a friend who was throwing out a bunch stuff from his fathers storage unit. I noticed a box of 1942-45 Army field, training and technical manuals. He said I could have them. So I now have a 500 page tech manual for a M4a3 Sherman tank, field manuals for a Thompson submachine gun, M3 grease gun, M1 Garand, M1 carbine, Bazooka, M1919 Browning machinegun, 75 MM howitzer and the Colt .45 cal Auto and revolver. I will also be able to repair the flamethrower on my Sherman tank. There are a bunch of others about various subjects from camouflage of vehicles to military police. I am learning that there is a market for these older, original manuals. I have been doing some research and some of the values are amazing. The biggest value, to me, anyway, is a peek into history.

That's one heck of a treasure trove! Nice grab  I have a couple US Army manuals but nothing that spectacular.

Thats very cool. If you decide to part with the M1 carbine manual. I might be interested. You can download it for free but it's just not the same as a printed original book. I have seen them online anywhere from $8 to $15.

Nice ugly pistol no complaints accurate and reliable IMG_20250920_175545755.jpg
The arex is my favorite it is snappier than the Glock, smith, CZ, gforce, Taurus ts9
But it's quite a bit slimmer and lighter.

If you would spread your shots around it would be easier to see them.

When you put them all in a small little area it’s hard to tell where you hit .
