Be warned that I fell for some scam “deals” from fake Palmetto Armory ad and will never get reimbursed. Paid with CC but scammer received the payment by PayPal. Out about $150 plus. It’s my fault for being gullible.

I placed an order from AE Ammo today. It is coming Fed Ex and should be here on Friday. It is shipping from the Indianapolis, IN area. Anyone else do business with that company??

I've purchased quite a bit of ammo that had to be shipped to me without issue other than maybe they showed stock that they did not actually have to sell me. Have bought a ton from Cabelas over the years (free shipping helps keep PPR down). Others I use confidently are Underwood, Freedom Munitions/LAX ammo (great reloads). Have been buying off the shelf lately as I'm just maintaining stock levels now. Watching for sale items and letting the stores pay the shipping.

Accurate enough at 7 yards for its intended purposes!

How's the trigger these days? I have not fondled any of the LCPs since the early days and could not get past the trigger which I think was intentionally 'bad' from Ruger.

(I'm no precision shooter and can tolerate a bit but some I just find off putting)

Still bad lol ! Just a typical double action trigger.
Your spot on..i think it's on purpose. It would take some crazy scenario to have this go off in your pocket !
Gun was surprisingly snappy when fired. Kinda cool !

I *do practice my double action with a revolver once in a while. Doesn't mean I've gotten much better at it. lol My Baby Deagle is the only double that I've ever gotten along with. IMI did a nice job with them. It just got to be heavy as an all steel piece what with all the tupperware stuff available.

I have an LCPII. I really like the trigger. I hear you on the going off in your pocket. I keep mine in a pocket holster and am comfortable with it. It is snappy and accuracy beyond short distance isn't its strong suit.

I've had an account for over 10 years with palmetto
Fortunately I've never had an issue.
    I use PayPal for everything
Some eBay purchases didn't work out and I was instantly reimbursed by PayPal if eBay disputed it.

I’m very familiar with Palmetto Armory and they are a fantastic company! The scam ads were very well done and included an exact duplication of their logo and marketing. Like I said earlier I simply let my “spider senses” down and said wow, what great prices and bit. I’m an idiot:rofl: .

I have carried one of these LCPIIs for years. The trigger is much better than the original LCP. It eats any ammo I have cycled through it. Due to how easy it is to conceal and how well it functions, I carry it more than any of my other hand guns.

Year's ago Bailey's chainsaw parts had a security breach or something and many people didn't get their money back for some reason I really don't know
But they won't buy from them again.
I Google is this company legit when I'm dealing with a new company that usually works
Lot's of damm scammers out there now.

It was priced wrong at the gunstore
The non optics versions with 2 mags were 499.00
This one is the range kit with 3 19 rnd mags
Optics ready, range bag and optics plate
    For 399.00
I haven't bought a full size pistol for over 10 years
    Very comfortable and accurate
Probably the best deal on a high quality name brand semi auto out there.
Online the regular non optics are like 352.00 but locally they are around 500.00 for some reason
But you have to pay shipping and FFL to order online. Screenshot_20250817-154742.Chrome.png

Barrel Axis alone is enough for me to not even consider a modern SIG pistol. Wouldn't it be a shame if there were an American Company that could supply side arms to it's own militaries?

Killer price. My last full size was a P-09. It shoots very similarly to a 1911 for me. Feels similar in the hand as well (nice balance, little less weight).

I have a question about ammo storage. I was looking at ammo cans today and came across a video of a guy talking about using ammo cans. He was saying DO NOT STORE AMMO IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING. He was saying it is better to take the ammo out of the cardboard boxes and dump them into the ammo cans along with a silica package or two. Those who use the ammo cans, how do you use them to store your ammo?
