I have started to see CCI Independence ammo for sale at a price of $.27 per round for 115gr target ammo. Has anyone used it and if you have, what are your thoughts?
Sunday funday, some well deserved maintenance and new stuff. H3 buffer is too heavy and H2 is too light. Enter Aero Precision adjustable gas blocks for both. New rings for the bolts and de-tuned the incredibly strong spring on the safeties a just a touch. Put them together years ago and never really did much with them until now, these little bullets are kinda fun and a whole lot cheaper to reload!!. Now it's time to go enjoy doing some cooking for din-din.

It's been a year and a half since I moved out to Iowa. I finally got my reloading stuff unboxed and set up. I have 4500 small pistol primers, 2500 large pistol primers. I should be good for a while...
My friend lucked out He got this new unfired Ruger for 435.00 Somebody needed Christmas money I guess I'm going to line up that cheap scope he put on it for him.
Check these out these free ship premium defense ammo Winchester USA Ready 9MM 124Gr Hex-Vent Hollow Point +P
That's a good price too for those. The savings amount though is messed up. This is for 200 rds. Savings of $1600? For $1600 there better be at least a couple of guns to go with that ammo for those savings
My local shop even without tax We are tax free on guns and ammo They are 240.00 That is as great deal for a 100.00
They are for all intents identical because I have a problem and like redundancy... Like most things, if I need one, I buy two just in case. lol 16in, SOCOM profile, straight flute, Wylde chamber, 1-8 twist. So either .223 or 5.56. I use only LC NATO brass, and run higher pressure 5.56 clone reloads. I put in my Triggertech trigger, and put a scope on to do accurate load development. Before winter is over, the plan is to take the scope back off the one, and return the combat trigger, flip up BUIS, and reflex sight I have. Then I can get another lower and transfer my target trigger to it with the complete upper I have in 6ARC and stop swapping stuff around.
I have a Remington Model 600 in 350 Rem Mag that I am quite fond of. It is a dandy meat getter. It now has a buddy- a Remington 700 Classic in 350 Rem Mag. Unfired by the guy I bought it from. 1985 build date. 22 inch bbl. It has now been fired. I put 5 through it with open sights. I just can’t have an unfired gun in my possession. It’s against my rules.
12/2/23 Custom McGowen barrel on order (6-8 weeks) Today: Aero .875 adjustable gas block for said barrel New Aero Gen 2 lower because I don't want to swap lowers around anymore, especially with the new barrel setup and disturb the overall harmonics. Bunches of associated parts to finish said lower (from 3 different places) Now: waiting. (which will take forever) Future: Breath life into a complete new stand alone life form rifle ...Nice...
