    Holy crap Joe! That sucks!

    So, does this mean the wedge goes right to the plate? Or did it happen some other way? On my splitter there is an inch or so gap between the wedge edge and the plate. Not a big deal when splitting oak, but could get annoying when splitting stringy stuff like elm. Maybe that's why there's that gap?!

    ....another downside, flipping the bird to someone is now worth only 90% of what it used to be! :p
