Seeing that tree come at me was an experience, and I had the tractor in 1 Low, worked great for traction until the top was comin at me from up the hill.
From the angle I was standing at by the back of the garage, I could tell you were clear of the top ............................. but not by much! I figured that was going to give you a rush!
X100... I like to set an example. But I cut and run to many saws with little to no PPE on. If your caught up in a brush pile? Or felling a nasty leaner? Then I suggest PPE. Not saying there is a right time NOT to wear it. But I am saying to use your discretion, experience, and your gut to judge what you should wear.
For the record, I meant I would never take down a tree myself...not questioning anyone's abilities. I'm not skilled at all.
