We should be able to make that happen pretty easy. I hate to see it go, but my better judgement says it's got some root issues and should probably come down.
Tim, if you were to walk between the barn and the house you would come to it right beside the house (on the north side). Good night. Shutting the computer down and going to take a shower.
No problem, I'll hold the ladder, that way we can both get some experience. I have a smaller adult one that's more of a rock climbing one, but haven't let him use it yet, things will escalate quickly once he's in that. He made that setup he's using without my help BTW, there's no stopping him. It's great watching him learn, amazing what he gets, and what he comes up with. Thanks Dennis, you know if I'm there he's gonna want to be there .
Backwoods Savage whats the normal temperatures the time of year of the gtg? Just trying what clothing/bedding to bring. My wife and I may have to make our own heat, just don’t tell her, I want her to go! We are thinking about getting a tent for our truck for your and Well Seasoned s is gtg
At our age? It might have a slight movement if you look close! Speaking of that I was reading about tents mounted on the rooftops of trucks and people accidentally leave the lights on when “they get down” and give the other campers quite the show.
That truck tent looks nice. Officially the average temperature for 4/21 here is 60 and 37, which I'd agree with. We've seen temperatures get well into the 70's at that time of the year and once we even saw low 80's. We've also had high temperature in the low 50's with snow. If snow falls then, it typically will fall in the late afternoon and could be anywhere from a ground cover to a couple inches, but it does not last long. We've had 2 GTG's here so far. 2 years ago we had high temperatures in the 60's and sunny with the lows in the high 30's. Last year we had highs in the 50's and lows around the freezing point. We did have sunshine but also had some cloudy times. It had been really wet before the gtg so the woods were wet. Bring boots, just in case. Shoot, boots are a good idea because of all the wild raisins in the woods. Let us hope this year is like it was 2 years ago. We also basically clear out the barn and had a few people sleeping in there last spring and it worked out well. We'll have plenty of firewood for camp fires and also have a Mr Buddy heater if someone needs it. We have one of those pop-up outfits that is either 10 x 10 or 12 x 12 (don't remember the size for sure) that we can set up. If need be we can put up a tarp on one or two sides to block any wind or rain. Speaking of tarps, we have several if anyone needs one. We also have several small rugs.
We like to sleep in the cold so that’s fine. We can keep an eye on your weather and pack as needed. Thank you sir!
