    Just found a nest right next to the house. Looks pretty fresh.

    Going to apply some deterrent (gasoline and a bucket) to them after dark tonight.

    I got stung three times scrounging wood two Mondays ago by yellow jackets in the ground. Right next to the log i moved.

    I have a small creek/tributary in my front yard. I tiptoe through it while weed eating every year from the end of July on. I seem to find a nest there about every year.
