    I still liked DOS... Oh yes, I also fondly remember buying my first hard drive and installing it. Thought that was super great and I was amazed at the size of it. 10 meg.

    I remember my first computer was a 486SX, 4MB RAM, VLbus vid card, and an 80 MB hard drive that had IBM DOS 6.1 on it. When I bought a Conner 1 GB Hard drive for $400 I was overjoyed on how I would never need anything bigger (uh-huh, right). Still have that HD in my computer junk drawer.

    I think the first one my mom got was a used office 486.
