But I didn't follow through! I talked about it at a few GTG's and others wanted in. I was going to wait till after Christmas because I thought it would stand a better chance after the holiday. Boy was I wrong! After all the members and donations? I don't know if I could have done it as well as Mr Shawn Curry. I've done a few saws for members but never had over 200+ members in a PM with over half of them donating for a total of over $3,500+!!! The kudos goes to all the members who gave. My idea was nothing without the person who put it together and all the people who gave (much more than I ever could imagine)!!! Merry Christmas Adam! You have done so much here and we all know you have given so much of your time!
BTW- The video that you handed the letter to your wife to finish, was probably a tear jerker for all of us. I know I was tearing up.
For anyone worried about the financial well being of this site-- if we didn't sell another scrap of swag we could keep this site running for the next five years with the same quality you have come to expect. This has been a big year for FHC-- it is all grown up and is supporting itself and then some. We sent Heidi flowers when she needed a lift because we could. We have given away swag at GTGs and when we reached 2500 members. So don't worry, this site is growing and not is any peril. Just relax and enjoy the fruits of our labours.
Yes sir, with Shawn's commitment to take it on and follow through, members kicked it into gear and made it happen. Thank you grizz for doing what you do and thank you mods for all the time and effort you're putting into this site. I like to thank all the members of this forum weather they contributed or not, the members contribute so much to make this forum what it is.
You don't need to bud! You were there and lived it. True story. We have appreciated all the donations and purchases. FHC is in good hands and we will be here for a long time! You deserved every penny Grizz. FHC wouldn't be what it is without you. All of us have done our part. But you have gone above and beyond my friend .
