Very cool. Most of the springs around here aren't hot, but rusty.

Thank you for taking the time from your beautiful vacation to share these photos with us. I too have always dreamed about visiting Iceland. These pictures give me incentive not to give up on a dream!

    To quote Jack Kerouac:
"Because in the end, you won't remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goshdarn mountain."

Well, its an eloquent qoute, but not entirely accurate.

One will most likely remember all the years in a cubicle, on an assembly line, what have you. Those memories will not be as pleasing as those made following ones ambitions or goals.

At the end, I have no clue what will cross my mind, but I'd rather not focus on the mundane day to day experience that has become my life.

I applaud your sense of adventure and capturing life as the experience it should be.

Hey now I've been to those places.
If you are still there on the 9th I hope you get to see Yoko and John Lennon's Imagine Peace Tower lit. It was not lit at night when I was there.

Thanks Ralphie for the pictures. Hope we get a chance to talk about that trip this coming weekend.

Did you get to see the chessboard that was used when Bobby Fischer won the World Championship there in Iceland?
