    No, certainly not a better man. My wife was advised to get shoulder replacement but didn't, or hasn't yet. I was advised to have shoulder surgery about 12 years ago. Probably won't because I know too many who have had it done...more than once. Wife had the shoulder surgery (not replacement) almost 10 years ago and she still complains, but only when she is trying to reach high or behind her back. No pain in the shoulder but lost motion. Oh yes, I had some cortisone shot into the shoulder once and it did help for a while.

    Yeah, so much of this type of medicine is theoretical and experimental

    Like you, I know people who have had various repairs done that simply didn't last

    Bunch of guys I knew in the bush let an ortho doctor talk them into his new procedure for screwed up lumbar discs

    Immediate relief

    A year later 3 out of 4 were worse than before

    No thanks
