    Now 37° & climbing.
    Warm wind coming from the south, all the way from Hawaii.
    Pineapple express !

    What a fast change. 38° now.

    right around freezing at night but it has been up to 11 C (51 F) during the day. We have had clear skies and sunshine for about two weeks now. Drying clothes on Campinspecter's clothes line which is awesome at this time of year. No real wind with this as well. The snow loads on the hills is very low so we could have a scary fire season this summer.

    We have this cold weather beat Gasifier, get those saws ready. If it warms up enough today, I'm running back in for another damaged Cherry.

    I do need to do some saw maintenance/cleaning. I'm not going in my woods until something changes with this layer of Ice under the snow. It is down right nasty to walk on in my woods. I guess we are not going to get a thaw for a while. So would more snow on top help?:confused:

    I'm getting my big saw out today with a fresh chain. I'm going to noodle some smaller rounds for next month. They won't be ideal for burning but I am running low.

    I don't think more snow would matter, if I start breaking through the area I'm working, I walk over the area a few times which packs it down.
