Got a good mix back on the porch. Life will be easier for a few weeks anyway ! 132090F7-FDF9-410D-BFFA-DB4A55359922.jpeg

Looks like you put up a wall on your front porch. That should get you by for awhile.

That looks great. I see you have a chair conveniently situated so that you can sit there and admire those lovely walls of btus! I loaded my garage with about 10 days of daytime burning wood late this afternoon with my daughter. Lodgepole pine, doug fir and spruce. It was close to the house so only took about 20 minutes.

It does work well as a wind break !
I kind of got behind so I am a little short on the good stuff. About 80% of my wood is still holding some green. I have a bunch in the house next to fireplace in hopes of speeding up the process but I doubt it will help much. Maybe we will have another mild winter and it will be a non issue.

That's certainly a well stocked porch.

Looks good and yes, it can be a wonderful wind break. We used to stack wood on the porch every winter like that but now stack on the opposite side of the house and it is very close to the stove. You can see the wood rack on the right.

btw, my wife was making applesauce on the stove.

Very nice ! I have a back patio that would actually be closer but little wind makes it there so dries out faster up front after wet weather.
