Reminds me. I should get an extra plug for the saw, put in the saw tool box. Might be handy . I never think to replace the plugs in the small equipment .
I read somewhere once that a spark plug once installed doubles it's resistance in six months whether used or not. I don't know whether that's accurate or not. But, I've had more than one person bring me a chainsaw or lawnmower that "wouldn't start." Popped a fresh plug in and it started like a champ. Happens more than you would think. I buy them by the ten-pack now and keep a couple of spares in the travel chainsaw box. Just be careful if buying ten packs on ebay. Lots of counterfeit plugs out there.
2 cycle ultralight engines that were tuned and running perfectly, would always start easier with fresh plugs.
