Sure, as in PB Blaster? Any type of those solvents are "close" to the same thing. Believe it or not, Auto break fluid and automatic transmission fluid, 50/50 mix is some of the best solvent you can get.
It will penetrate and kick @$$ quick. I learned that 40 years ago from an old Mack truck mechanic who worked in a dealership. They would mix it in a spray bottle and spray it on things needed. I believe he told me he learned it from a guy who worked on farm tractors. It's just not like buying a can of spray, you gotta mix it, but handy if you don't have PB or WD-40 around.

I've got the 281 running strong. The compression will rip your arm off. I need to order a gauge. I cleaned it up and it had no spark. New plug and cleaned the corrosion off the coil/flywheel and got spark. Dumped fuel in the carb and off she went with old gas in the tank. I put fresh gas in and barely had to touch the carb.

I need to get a bar for it. The nose is siezed up on the bar that was on it. I'm a Stihl guy so I don't have husky stuff laying around

Surprising it didn't at least take a carb diaphragm. You'll love the grunt this saw has.

281 husky is a beast, and it's killer that you got it running for not much more than your time invested.

Does someone make a bar adapter for that size saw? I run Stihl bars on my bigger Husqvarna saws because I had all Stihl bars and matching chains lying around so an adapter made sense.
