    If you turn the low side of the carburetor out ccw a half turn or so you can get rid of that bog from idle to full throttle.

    Made some more rounds today. These are elm that was alive when cut last fall. I discovered that a 18” x 14” diameter green elm round is probably more than I can swim with. They are HEAVY :jaw: CEAB4F5A-D70F-43B1-B302-464B89B2A1A3.jpeg

    I know American & I think maybe Chinese or Siberian. Other than that they are all just elms and firewood to me. I should do a little research and learn more about them since that’s probably 80% of what I burn

    If I didn’t burn elm I’d be stuck with cottonwoods and occasionally an ash

    I can score an ash once in a while. & I like it just fine, just can’t get it reliably. Last 2 good ash scores were on company time, so I had to share :(

    Every once in a while I find the dark elm splits like maple (just pops right open). Not sure what verity it is though.

    Around here most of the Elm is Siberian Elm. I can tell you that it is not Chinese Elm, it has a way different looking bark.
