Well in our part of the PNW we got a pretty good frost last night! I'd heard it was supposed to frost, but, at 38 degrees last night i thought i'd better cover the Tomatoes. Got up at 2:15 AM and it felt a little cooler, but, at dusk it had felt cooler than normal as well. So, i broke out a couple of old tarps and another old table cloth and covered them. Went out about 5 AM with the dog, sure enough, there was frost on both the tarps i had covered the tomatoes with!! Looks like the Black Krems will keep ripening. The vines are loaded with them now, they started off a little thin, got heavier with tomatoes , even started more blooms. Now i've got at least 25-30 nice tomatoes coming on. Picked 4 yesterday, and they are nice! Gonna miss those babe's this winter. I'll post a picture of this one really nice one later on its 11 1/2'' in diameter and 3'' across, perfect size.
