    I suppose there are ways to cut it safely. Nice money making project for those with the skill, I bet a lot of people would buy those.

    I've got one of those 4 foot firewood racks next to the stove full of hemlock that were leftovers from the sawmill that was cut a month ago. It's all sitting at >12 percent.
    And it's half gone!

    I actually made a kindling cracker this year. Smashed most of it into 1 inch peices.
    Between the small size and being close-ish to the stove it burns decent.
    I've found hardwood works much better at getting the stove up to temp.

    All my "kindling" is turning out to be shoulder season stuff. :hair:

    Yeah they cost a hundred dollars wich is ridiculous so I made a mega one.

    Anyone with a welder and grinder could make something like that but it was an idea a girl had to keep her fingers safe. This was a good idea. But could really be a lot cheaper for the metal honestly!
