One more ton and I will be good for the season, usually don't stock up this early but as crazy as things are I'm not taking any chances of a shortage.

$ 319.00 A bit steep but softwoods are hard to come by around here.

Yeah, $290.00 a ton, but my stove isn't a fan of yellow pines. Kingdoms nor easy blaze.

I keep getting emails for their early buy pricing. The one owner lives 20 mins. from me and I contacted them about picking pellets ( hardwoods ) up at his house like in the past but they never called me back, I have his cell number but I'm not kissing their a__ to buy their pellets.

I can't tell the kind those are from the pic. Don't recognize the bags from anything I usually see in my area. So, I NEED to know what they are just to beat myself up that I can't get them :D

2 tons ready to go into the basement today to join three other tons. 2 more to be delivered around January.. That whole window pops out so one pitches the other receives. Takes about 15 minutes to stack one ton. The other 3 tons waiting for company.

Seems when shortages occur, it is more regional. We went through a dry period in 2008-2009, One year we had an overproduction/stock up and they did a spring sale of $100/ton. Hard to tell. But one thing I have noted is it directly related to the oil market. If oil isn't sky high, then we don't have pellet shortages. Price of pellets has a lot of factors. The most influential is the what the market will support. mid west always seems to have some of the best prices. Here, you can live next door to the plant and still have mid range prices. Seems the further south you go, or more urban, up goes the cost. I bought 4 tons for fall/winter delivery at the early bird price here. Plant is not far from here. I am OK with the price. They didn't go up this year. I'll take delivery later on. I don't have the space available right now.
