Just fill it with a load of manure and deliver it where it needs to go. After that you will be able to just use the truck bed instead of babying it.
New trucks and work is harder and harder each year, most buy a pick up as a daily driver those of us that haul and work our truck have a delima. Take care of it scratches happen. Enjoy the bells and whistles !! My new Ram.
Nice truck there North Woods. Do your research and buy something to help with the loading that won't change the performance/handling of your truck when you are not loading it.
We put 523 miles on the 2013 RAM 1500 Hemi yesterday. My wife was driving so we got 20.1 mpg. She says she kept close to the speed limit but the trip computer says her average speed was 71.1 mph and top speed was 87 mph. She has a lead foot and a french driver's license. I gets better mileage when you stay around 65. KaptJaq
I assume your tradesman doesn't have the air ride? If not, I suggest Air-Lift 1000 bags. Love em! I have them on my 2012 Ram 1500. Cheap, easy to install and use. http://www.airliftcompany.com/shop/60818/
They due it is a fleet vehicle- except the part on the dual alternators( only oil burners- might be orderable that way) and I don't know if you can even get a manual anymore- used to. 5-13 gears? you lookin for 5.4l eng. My 99 is a fleet unit F350 auto ( 3 + od) 4.77 6.8l v10 4x4- manual engagement( no vacuum crap) I don't have the pto but it was an option. My 06 is 5r tranny. Think they have a 6 gear in them now. That dodge that the op has is 9 speed auto. Ya they are sprung light for the soccer moms.
The old, 2002 Nissan, and the new, 2013 RAM. The Nissan was a basic work truck, small 6, standard transmission, power windows, and A/C. I was looking for the equivalent in a larger truck, couldn't find one. Dealer had this leftover RAM with all the bells & whistles at a reasonable price plus somebody in the yard gave me well over book value for the Nissan. Deal. KaptJaq
