Good thoughts and prayers are working. She is home! I don't know who she paid off but they let her out! Now we wait to make sure she heals up properly. These things have a high probablity of having complication. So now I keep an eye on her to make sure she eats and sleeps and stays out of trouble. The surgeon gave us his cell phone number. Her knows that Cindy has 3 RNs keeping an eye on her. She is happy to be back sitting in her recliner by the stove and with her kitties.
That's Great News! Will keep her and you all in the prayers as the road to recovery is upon you guys....
I'm super glad she's home! Can't ask for much better Christmas present than that!! make sure she "behaves" and follows the Dr.s orders....continued prayers for a full recovery buddy!
Cindy is much better. Still having a few issues but she is dealing with them. Now starting to eat some real food. Low energy level. Took her out today while I ran some errands. Just keeping my fingers crossed that she doesn't develope complications. Thanks for asking and kind thoughts.
Funny, you know I really am a Rn. Started out as a medic in the military, then used the GI bill and went to the University of Maine and have been an Rn since the mid70's now retired from the VA and the Military. No regrets.
I'm afraid I borrowed that term from Stinny I did not know that you were an RN, just that you were giving loving care to Cindy!
