    Morning All. Off to work this morning. This laying around is fun to a certain point. Yesterday ended up very warm and smoky so I couldn't go outside. campinspecter came back with a nice load of alder firewood. Still no rain in the forecast. Unreal weather. The concern now is whether the returning salmon are going to be able to get up the rivers if we don't get rain soon.

    Good morning! 40F and partly cloudy. Rain should be moving in this afternoon with no real temperature change. I did a lot of scrounging in my processing center over the weekend going through random old piles to find anything suitable to take to the roadside stand. I split a bunch of seasoned shorts and added uglies to make a full IBC tote to sell. Had a fun time at church Saturday with a fall block party for the community. Got a few mums planted yesterday. Probably some craft projects tonight and indoor work on a tote and a pallet rack that need repairs. Have a God day!

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Left home about 7:30 this morning for the 70 mile drive to Augusta hospital for our 2 yr grandson's eye surgery this morning. They said surgery should take about 45 minutes, then recovery room. We should be home early afternoon. Need to deliver another load of wood and got some to stack in totes...
    Had a good time with my friend from work, Chris, on Saturday.We went to the site and got them a couple loads of limb wood.

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 49° this morning, with a high of 58°. Got a freeze warning for tonight. Heading over to the Plantation to work on more trees.

    Grandson's surgery was successful, the Dr worked on 2 muscles on his left eye, 1 on the right. Took him awhile to wake up, so we got home about 4 PM.
    He was back to his wide open self last night, praise GOD.
    Be encouraging, share a smile, lend a hand.

    We got our first snow yesterday but it didn't last long. I did see over 14" in the UP but moat were lower than that. It is still snowing in eastern UP and northern LP.

    Good morning! 36F and cloudy. We had a wintry mix later in the day yesterday that is supposed to resume (lake effect). Probably not much in the way of wood chores will get done. I cut more out of the face of an IBC tote last night to make it easier to stack and remove splits. It was one of my first ones. Also fixed a pallet rack that was starting to fall apart. If weather straightens up I'll scrounge some pallets I found. Not sure what else I'll get into today. Have a God day!

    T.Jeff I'm glad your grandson's eye surgery went well!
    My grandson had a day off school for a teacher's strike, so I had him up. Back to school today, fortunately.

    Morning All. Brrrrr! You can keep the snow back east Backwoods Savage We had nearly summer temps yesterday with a faint smell of smoke in the air. campinspecter got the load of alder unloaded yesterday so he is headed out for another load today. I think this will be the last load from that pile he started with on Firewood Morning There remains only brush and limbs now.
    I am off to work again today. Took most of the day to catch up on a week of missing work.
