Morning all. Heavy fog again this morning. It should be nice this afternoon. Midwinter I am still plagued with it. I will be missing church this morning and I have cancelled my visit to Mom's tomorrow. I just hope I can go back to work on Monday as work is piling up there.

Jesus talked about the end time when those who loved him and showed that love to others would be separated out from those who denied him while professing to love him. Do we give lip service to Jesus or heart service to Jesus? The best gift ever is the new heart that Jesus will give us when we serve him in love.

"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" Matthew 25:40

Molly, why are you moving the wood to your neighbors?

Because they are poor and have electric heat!
I only got two carloads moved. We stacked it in a small mudroom, so probably won't move any more until they run out.

What a good reason for moving wood! I hope they can find room for more so you don't have to move wood all winter.

 

Good morning. Considering we were at a wedding last night, we are up early. Canning tomato sauce and more pepper jelly is on the docked after church.

 

They don't want to store any wood outside, because tarps get covered with ice and snow. As they do at my house, lol.

 

Good morning everyone! Yesterday was a good workout, and I got a great night's sleep. No grandson today, but maybe tomorrow, because there may be a teacher's strike. I hope not.
I'm going to take full advantage of the beautiful fall weather!

We've had some cool mornings, down in rhe mid 40's, so far, no fire yet. Still warming up a lot during the day.
According to the dog fennel blooming, we should get a frost in 2-3 weeks.

 

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a spectacular SONDAY. Church this morning and then a cousin is riding with us to Sam's Club in Macon this afternoon. Might have a fire in the firepit tonight.

Morning all. No fog this morning, at least not yet. Sun is just starting to rise. Busy day today. Bookkeeping, library project work, and to re-sew 4 quilt blocks. Friday, I went to lay out what I had sewn together to see how it was coming along and realized that four blocks had misplaced centers. Duh! I don't know how that happened. I guess I was distracted by the YouTube videos I was watching at the time - on how to be accurate with cutting and piecing quilt blocks.

Ohio I feel your pain. Not fun to have to redo work especially if it isn't your favourite part of the job.

Good afternoon all. We hit the freezing mark this morning. Going to mid 50s. Next few days highs will be in mid 40s.
Ohio, my vote is take it to the house.

We have smoke in the air here. campinspecter is headed out for a load of firewood. Most of the fires are down island from us but wind direction has brought the smoke to us.
