Wow what a contrast in colours.

 

Morning All. Another fairly clear morning so it could be warm again today. Nights are chilly though. More clouds this morning so the weather could be changing. It has been a stretch of very unusually dry warm weather for this time of year. Almost as if summer arrived 6 weeks late.

Good morning, y'all......Hope y'all ha e a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. A guy took off today, so I'm working 7AM-7PM shift for some OT. Had a good day on the woodyard yesterday. Worked by myself, as Miz Carol had things to do in the house and waited on the technician, he got there about 1PM. Of course, he didn't have the part on his truck......even after sending in the form with what the problem was......
At least we can use a heavy box to keep door closed and still use the dryer.
Woodwidow I hope campinspecter back is feeling much better today. I enjoyed your videos.

campinspecter's back is coming along but it is slow. We have a truck load of alder to unload so I guess that will be first thing Sunday morning before I head over to Mom's.

Low 40's and clear. Forecast to mid-50's.

64⁰ inside so I lit off the fire I built earlier this week.

We had an inch of needed rain yesterday.

Running a few errands this morning. I'll return to the aroma of a fresh baked apple pie. That'll be coming with us tomorrow when we head to my cousin's beach house. There should be heavy surf with the hurricane out at sea.

Going over to the site for a couple hrs to clean up some older tops, he wants to burn the piles tomorrow. Then we are going to a birthday lunch for our DIL..

Good morning everyone! Yesterday was a washout, but today I'll get back to my locust project. I'm almost done. It's a brisk 50° with a breeze, so it will be a good day for moving and stacking.
Just the swamp maples are red here, but things are looking bronzy.

Midwinter it looks like you are going to get some colour in those trees. Our are going brown not yellow this year.

Last day of work this week. It was only a four day week as we took Monday off for the Queen's funeral.

Good afternoon all. Got up to a chilly 38*. Going to 50 for a high. Highs for the next week will be mid 50s for to low 60s.
The trees are really starting to turn here. Not sure how much color we will end up with.
