    Good afternoon, y'all. Hope y'all are having a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Nice day, good breeze and it's my FRIDAY...:dex::dancer::banana:...Off till next Thursday, I hope. Got to change the mower blades this evening, got several yards to mow tomorrow. Need to move the splitter, set up conveyor and start piling some splits for delivery later.
    Going to some busy days off.

    I've been doing my laps at the YMCA all along. My backyard pool is really only used for cold plunges on hot days.

    Good morning everyone! No new dump wood, but yesterday I came home with a lot of sunflower heads. Someone grew these, and then threw them all away! I'll dry them and put them out for the squirrels. IMG_20220916_5208.jpg

    Good morning and TGIF! Split a couple rounds of spruce for kindling last night. Smelled amazing but still too green to split down small. I put the splits out on a pallet to dry. Put together a few mini bundles as well. Tonight's agenda will be to split and fill an IBC tote with mixed hardwood and make a few more bundles to top off the roadside stand. I also have to do some repairs. It looks like somebody backed into one of the racks and knocked one side loose. Have a God day!

    Morning All. Was busy yesterday morning so I didn't get to post. It was a busy day all day.
    I think we might get a bit of rain today. It has been dry with only fog in the mornings for moisture for a couple of weeks. Cool this morning as well. Fall has arrived.

    Goldenrod always gets a bad rap. Its pollen is far too large and heavy to be much of a problem to anyone. it tends to fall straight down on the ground under the plant.

    One more fall-like day. Cool, clear, sunny. No humidity.

    I ended up going for a walk yesterday....behind my lawnmower. Rain is in the forecast for early next week. We still need more, so bring it on.

    I'll spend time this morning dealing with yard work. Later, we might head out for a bite to eat.

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. 60° this morning, going to do some tractor mowing for a neighbor, then tilling our son's garden for winter crops. This afternoon/evening we are meeting at church to fix plates to deliver for elderly/shut-ins..
    We got the 2 big yards mowed, ran a couple errands and cut/split more oak yesterday.
